Arthur Wigram Allen (1862-1941) was the son of Sir George Wigram Allen and the grandson of George Allen, founder of the oldest legal firm in Australia. He was admitted as a solicitor of the Supreme Court of New South Wales in 1886 and subsequently became a member of the Allen Allen and Hemsley legal firm.
