Comprises two stereoscopic albumen print photographs on grey mounts of views taken from St Mary's Cathedral in Sydney looking over the Domain to the houses and rooftops of inner-city Woolloomooloo and East Sydney. William Hetzer arrived in Sydney from Germany in 1850 and opened a photographic studio the same year at 51 Hunter Street, advertising calotype (salt prints), portraits and views.
