Notes: These drawings were the basis of a panorama, painted by Robert Burford, which was displayed in London in 1831 - "The Times" (London) 19 March 1831. A guide, with an etched frontispiece of the panorama, was published to accompany it: "Description of a view of Hobart Town, Van Dieman's Land, and the surrounding country : now exhibiting at the Panorama, Strand / painted by the proprietor, Mr. R. Burford", London, 1831. The frontispiece suggests that one sheet of the panorama, from the right hand side, is missing as its view is more extensive than the panorama.
