Nora Fletcher, born 1880 at Woollahra, New South Wales, trained as a nurse, graduating from the Coast Hospital in 1906 and later left Sydney to work in England. Throughout World War I she worked with the Joint War Committee, serving as Principal Matron in France. She obtained several awards for her services including the Royal Red Cross in 1915 and...
