John (Jack) Taylor Lingen, (1848-1933) barrister, was born in Hertfordshire, England.
He was the son of Dr. C. Leslie Lingen, and grandson of the Reverend Dr. Charles Taylor. He received his early education at Hereford Cathedral Grammar School and entered Pembroke College, Cambridge, in 1866. He gained his B.A. degree in 1870 and was called to t...
