Notes: The journal is unnamed but was identified as Rose Scott's by comparing the handwriting with known examples of her handwriting in the Mitchell Library and by reason of the fact that one of the loose pages bears her signature. Reference is made to this journal being part of Rose Scott's papers held by the Mitchell Library in 'Women in Australia', ed. Kay Daniels and others, 1977. It is probable that the journal was part of of the Scott family papers (MLMSS 38) received by the Library from the estate of Rose Scott in 1925 and became separated from them some time after 1977. The journal was copied onto preservation microfilm in Jan. 2004. The bulk of Rose Scott's papers are located at MLMSS 38/20X, 21-31, 32X and A2271-A2284. Digital order no:Album ID : 824207
