Notes: "The Hills Centre is the major Bicentennial project of the Baulkham Hills Shire Council. Designed by Sydney architect Tom Simmat around a 1550-seat Concert Hall, the Centre features a flexible system of interconnecting spaces creating performance 'modes' which will be used for a large variety of social and cultural purposes. The project has been funded by the Baulkham Hills Shire Council, the NSW Bicentennial Council, the Australian Bicentennial Authority and generous corporate and private sponsors.
