Celestial globe, with varnished, mounted gores. The globe is set into a three-legged mahogany stand, and encircled by wooden ring with a mounted paper, coloured horizon band. A compass is set into the foot of the stand. A metal meridian ring encircles the globe. An hour pointer is attached at the northern pole. The Globe is constructed from 18 gores.
