Notes: From 1887 to 1902 James Bonwick transcribed early Australian source material located in London, for the New South Wales Government. Most of the transcripts have been published in "Historical Records of New South Wales" (1892-1901) and "Historical Records of Australia" (1914-1926). In 1892 Frank Murcott Bladen assumed editorship of the 'History of New South Wales from the Records', later the 'Historical Records of New South Wales'. His work continued when transferred to the Public Library (1897). He was the Principal Librarian, Mitchell Library, during 1907-1912. On recto: "about 1813". On verso: "Copy sent out to me by Mr Bonwick. The original is in the British Museum. I think its proper place is in the Mitchell [library]. F.M.
