Mitchell Library has two copies: One copy has printer's corrections which were then incorporated into the other copy (which is approx. 21 cm tall). Both copies are dated 1802. The copy with the printer's annotations has been re-bound with Part II: (New South Wales, continuation of general orders, from the 28th of September, 1800 to the 13th of August, 1806. (206, 17 p.)) The first book printed in Australia. Mitchell Library copies at SAFE 1/17A-B: Select pages from these items have been digitised as part of the Nelson Meers Foundation Benefaction, 2002. Mitchell Library copy at SAFE 1/17A : Contains printer's corrections. This copy is inscribed on the title page, 'Robertus Howe'. The word 'Howe' has been partly erased. Robert Howe was the son of the book's printer, George Howe. Also inscribed on the t.p. is, 'Sydney Gazette Office', 'W. H. Wells', and 'J. Hay' [i.e. Sir John Hay]. The inside front cover has the inscription, 'William Henry Wells, Surveyor'. This copy has been re-bound and also contains Part II. Pages 151-152 (of Part II) were missing and manuscript copies supplied in their place. There are various manuscript notes throughout the volume. Mitchell Library copy at SAFE 1/17B : Has the printer's corrections incorporated. It contains the bookplate of David Scott Mitchell and is inscribed, 'D. S. Mitchell' on flyleaf. The microfilm copy of SAFE 1/17A is on reel CY1072. The microfilm copy of SAFE 1/17B is on reel CY1480. The microfilm Master Negatives, Duplicate Negative, and viewing Postive held.
