Contents: , 2 maps : b&w ; on sheet 58 x 63.5 cm., 52.3 x 64 cm., (a.) Unfinished state. Printed on thin paper mounted on thick. No plate mark. Patchy impression, many of the lines being broken. Parts in the corners appear to have been engraved as an afterthought. Shows relief shading and the smaller water courses only. No outlines, inscriptions, or roads. Sea and unmapped land all uniformly shaded. Outlines based on a ms. map by Mitchell, Map of part of the Pyranees. -- (b.) Unfinished state. Printed on thin paper mounted on thick. Plate mark clipped on two sides. Bordered on two sides, with join lines on the other two. Shading of unmapped land removed. Remaining watercourses and some roads inserted as a double outline with the relief shading at least partly erased from between.
