Notes: A group of ten manuscript maps from the original survey and material by T.L. Mitchell. from which the Map, Battle of Pamplona, part II, shewing the Positions on the 29th, and 30th July was produced. Completed map, of which these ms. maps are preparatory material, published by James Wyld in his atlas: "Maps and plans: showing the principal movements, battles & sieges, in which the British army was engaged during the war from 1808 to 1814, in the Spanish Peninsula and of the south of France". Ink with incompleted parts in pencil. These maps between them cover the entire area of the printed map of the same title, approximately on the same scale. They were possibly conflated as a single manuscript for the lithographer to work from. They have no titles or author statements, and very few inscriptions of any kind. The titles following, being the name of the most central town on each, and the numbers are supplied.
