Notes: "My complete graphics suffered a disastrous launch at Olsen's exhibition at Australian Galleries. The books arrived on the actual night of the opening, but to everyone's horror, an uncorrected proof had been printed, with numerous mistakes in editing, layout, page order, and content... The book was corrected and reprinted later in 1980 but the relationship between artist and publisher [Richard Griffin] was irreparably damaged. ... only a handful of copies were kept by those closely involved"--Bookseller's description. McNally on behalf of Richard Griffin, 12th September 1980, inviting him to purchase the book wih attached prospectus and order form. 4. My complete graphics prospectus and order form. "The fruits of haste: Leisurely lamentation, heated explanations, and costly reparations - woe is me. Richard." "This book was rushed to meet a launching deadline and were delivered an hour before the disastrous launching when one one copy was put on show - the rest were pulped and the book re-done.
