Carron to the Colonial Secretary, 10th June 1856, re a Customs appointment at Eden; holograph letter of recommendation from Thomas Holt to the Colonial Secretary, 18th June 1856; and a group photograph showing Black Jackey and others. This photograph incorrectly identified Black Jackey as Jackey Jackey who accompanied Kennedy on his expedition. Jackey Jackey died in 1854 and the photograph dates to the1860s. The photograph was removed in March 2010 and transferred to the Pictures collection, SPG/1
