John Garland (1862-1921), barrister and parliamentarian, was born at Scotland, son of Robert and Isabella Garland. He was educated in Scotland graduating from the University of Edinburgh with a Bachelor of Laws in 1886. Garland travelled to Australia in 1887 and was admitted to the NSW Bar in 1888.He was appointed King's Counsel in 1910. He was...
