Administrative / Biographical history
In the 1860s Mary Girard (d. 1876), widow of Francis Girard (1791-1859), acquired Lismore Station on the Richmond River. The Girard family also acquired Dungarubba, on the lower Richmond, as a cattle run. -- Girard family (MLDOC 2468)
