Administrative / Biographical history

George and Thomas Luker were brothers from Gloucestershire, England who came to Sydney in November 1839. George married Lucy Hobbs in 1844 and went on to own Luker's Flour Mill. He died in 1882. After four years in New South Wales Thomas travelled to Valparaiso, Chile, where he married and had three children.
