Administrative / Biographical history

Early 20th century Sydney cartoonist and illustrator in Sydney ca 1909-1917. He did illustrations for a number of books for the NSW Bookstall Co., including Steele Rudd’s On An Australian Farm (1910). His work appears in Harold Cavill’s history of the 2nd Battalion `Imperishable ANZACS: A story of Australia’s Famous First Brigade (Sydney, 1916). He also illustrated for the Sunday Times, notably during World War I with political cartoons.

“Where to next Father?” was published in the Sunday Times under the heading of "The Crown Prince Perplexed” on 12 March 1916, p. 2.
