Louisa Hooke born 10th December 1873 at Hambleton Hill, Singleton, N.S.W., daughter of Augustus Hooke (b.31/5/1831, d.14/10/1906) and his wife Louisa Barbara (Mackay) (b.18/11/1841, d.9/7/1918). Louisa started her general nursing training at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital on 13th May 1897, completed her training on 10th July 1900. In 1914 she trave...
