A framed panoramic view of Sydney and Sydney Harbour taken from the tower of Bernard Otto Holtermann's house (which after 1885 became part of the Sydney Church of England Grammar School) above Lavender Bay. The photograph is in its original frame and mount.

General note

Holtermann’s mansion above Lavender Bay was bought by the Anglican Church after his death in 1885 and became the Sydney Church of England Grammar School (SHORE). The mansion was altered beyond recognition and the tower encased by bricks in the 1930s.
