    George Millar (ca. 1891-1950), accountant and surf-lifesaver, was born in Glasgow, Scotland. After more than four years' service with the A.I.F. in WWI, Millar became an accountant and in 1926, set up in partnership with Alan William Kinglsey Wicks.
