Date note

First three letters in volume have dates 1843-44, 1844 added in pencil ; i.e. 1863-1864?

Final letter from Lady Sarah Macarthur has date 1890 added in pencil, although her death is dated 1889 in Sir Edward Macarthur's entry in the Australian Dictionary of Biography.
