Administrative / Biographical history

Reverend Hubert Ernest de Mey Warren was born in 1885. He joined the Church Missionary Society's Aboriginal mission at Roper River in the Northern Territory in 1913.
In 1916-21 he explored the east Arnhem Land coast and islands to find sites for 'a chain of missions' on the west of the Gulf of Carpentaria. In 1921 Warren started the C.M.S. miss...
