Notes: Titled from information provided by the donor. The portrait is loose within the frame and has been damaged at the lower left of gown. Dated and attributed after comparision with other medallion portraits of Charles Augustus Fitzroy held in the Mitchell Library collection (see wax portrait P*19 and bronze portrait P*38). It has not been established whether the portraits are original works by Theresa Walker, reproductions of her works, or reproductions from other people's moulds.
