Administrative / Biographical history

Jack Davey was born in 1907, in New Zealand and arrived in Sydney in 1931. He became a radio and later a television broadcaster. His fame reached a peak during the period of 1940-1950, but failed to attract audiences in television during the late 1950s. He died of cancer in 1959.
