Administrative / Biographical history

Henry Lawson, poet and short-story writer, was born at Grenfell, N.S.W. in 1867. His poems were first published in The Bulletin in 1887 and a short story was published in 1888. Lawson died in Sydney in 1922.
Louisa Lawson (1848-1920) was the mother of Henry Lawson. She was a leading figure in republican and women's movements and in 1888 founded...
