General note

VH-UTG British Klemm BK.1 Eagle II was originally imported in April 1935 for Adastra Airways of Mascot. It was sold to R.T. Vincent of Geelong in May of 1936.
VH-UTV Short S.16/1 Scion was purchased new by Adelaide Airways in 1936, which formed Australian National Airways July 1936 (although operations under that name did not commence until November 1936)
VH-UUZ Tugan LJW.7 Gannet was operated by Western and Southern Provincial Airlines Ltd of Sydney from November 1935 until it was destroyed in by fire following a crash 2 miles west of Cordeaux Dam, NSW on 19 February, 1936
VH-UVU Tugan LJW.7 Gannet delivered by Tugan Aircraft in February 1936. It was sold to W.A.S.P. Airlines March 1936

Administrative / Biographical history

Edward ("Ted") Alexander Roberts was born in Arncliffe in 1907. He completed training to be a Methodist minister in 1935 and his first posting was to Wilcannia where he spent about two years. He died in 1974 having spent the whole of the intervening period as a minister in various parts of (mostly country) NSW and Darwin.
