Fifteen pocket diaries kept by Enid Marlay Deloitte for 1908-1917; 1919 and 1935-1938. The diaries document the daily life of young Sydney women from the pre-World War I period to the pre-World War II period.

1911 diary included one newspaper clipping. 
1912 diary included a handwritten orchestra rehearsal schedule, two postmarked 2d New South Wales stamps, a  photograph of three females and a male, in a  mount stamped on verso 'Souvenir from La Perouse'. 
1913 diary included a pressed leaf. 
1914 diary contained four newspaper clippings including a memorial to Lieutenant Edward MacFarlane Macfarlane, son of the late under-secretary for Lands and a piece of embossed paper with wax seal and string. 
1915 diary included a newspaper clipping of the portrait of a young man in AIF uniform.

The focus of this photograph is a group of 12 women and a girl, all but two of them dressed entirely in white, holding collection boxes labelled ‘Soldiers’ Day Appeal 1923.’ In the background two stalls and a chocolate wheel can be seen.

The badge displays the letters 'RVA' in the centre. Above these letters is the statement, 'FOR EMPIRE' and below is written 'N.S.W.' Two small scrolls are attached to the top and bottom of the badge. A small circle is joined to either side. On the back of the badge there is engraved the number 1953, presumably the member number of the individual who joined the NSW Association.
